Scotland 3 – Lithuani-aaaaar 1
Well, I’m delighted to say the flag made a spectacular Hampden debut in the West Stand. It inspired the Scots to a vital win, goals came from the heid of Tom Boyd, the ample thigh of Michelle McManus and the sweet foot of Steve McFadden (Phil from Eastenders). Not even a blatant dive for the penalty by squealing Jambo, Squeakaloonieus, could overpower the mythical TGPOTCTASC flag powers. Thanks go to the Senators who helped tie the flag up in the first half and to Senator Grant who helped surf the flag down to pitchside at half time. Also thanks to Senator Fraser Junior for taking on the role of club photographer.
Also successful, the official club eyepatch and socks made their debuts on Saturday, both proving to be a smash hit with Senators and non-Senators alike.
The flag was also enjoyed by some Lithuanians in Armstrongs bar, and is now on its way to Paris under the capable watch of Senator Barclay Junior, hopefully it will continue to inspire the Scots lads on their unstoppable journey to the Land of the Toblerones.
